<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide elderly-oriented optimum life amenity information in light of an aging society by means of portable information terminals and the like. <P>SOLUTION: A life amenity information service system using portable information terminals and the like includes a promoter, a database, a counseling institution, a school, a correspondence school, members and a financial institution. The database is provided with a data input/output device. In system operation, the promoter and the members use personal computers, home video game machines, portable information terminals and the like. Member cards with built-in IC chips are issued to the members. Cable/wireless communication connected to telephone lines or the Internet is used to access the Internet-connected database via a modem as a signal converter for data communication, so that communication with specified contact points such as a municipality and the counseling institution is automated and that the database is corrected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
