PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die cover which can be attached to and detached from a die body without use of a bond or the like and a die. SOLUTION: As for the die cover 17 to wrap an upper face of the die body 5 whose upper face is equipped with bend forming grooves 3 in the left and right direction, the cover 17A made of an elastic material comprises gripping end fringes 21A, 21B which can grip the die body 5 in the front and rear direction contacting with the front face 5F and the rear face 5R of the die body 5. The cover 17A is formed in a pipe shape with a longitudinal slit or in a trough shape and made of an elastic resin with oil-resistant and wear-resistant properties. The die 1 is made of the elastic material wrapping the upper face of the die body 5, and equipped with the die cover 17 on the upper part of the die body 5, which has the gripping end fringes 21A, 21B capable of gripping the die body 5 in the front and rear direction contacting with the front face 5F and the rear face 5R of the die body 5.
