CREEPING INSECT PEST EXTERMINATING MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR EXTERMINATING CREEPING INSECT PEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a creeping insect pest exterminating material comprising a substrate impregnated with a solution of an insect pest exterminating component, properly controlling the amount of an insect pest exterminating liquid used in the creeping insect pest exterminating material and resultantly exhibiting sufficient efficacy while reducing the amount of the insect pest exterminating component when the insect pest exterminating component is a neonicotinoid compound. SOLUTION: The creeping insect pest exterminating material is obtained by impregnating a nonwoven fabric with the insect pest exterminating liquid obtained by dissolving the neonicotinoid compound in glycerol. The amount of the insect pest exterminating liquid is 1-8 g based on 0.01 m2of the nonwoven fabric. A method for exterminating the creeping insect pests is characterized by allowing the creeping insect pest exterminating material to stand in a path of the creeping insect pests.
