A lock formed by a gas spring is located between the fixed frame (1) and the upper edge of the door leaf (2). Bearing fittings (7) for the top end of the door leaf hinge axle (3) and the free actuator bar end of the gas spring are secured to the fixed frame. The cylinder end (9) of the gas spring is pivotally connected to the door leaf. The actuator bar end (8) of the gas spring is connected to the corner (11) of an imaginary right-angled triangle (D) in which the hypotenuse (12) intersecting the door leaf hinge axis intersects with the side (13) of the triangle extending at right angles to the fixed frame plane in front of the hinge axis.
