摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser beam irradiation arc welding method for galvanized steel sheets to perform the welding while irradiating an arc generation part with a laser beam by which the occurrence of humping beads, blow holes and pits are prevented, and spatter hardly occurs and consequently excellent welding quality is obtained when welding is performed for a joint to be welded having a gap at a high speed exceeding 2 m/minute. <P>SOLUTION: In the laser beam irradiation arc welding method for galvanized steel sheets, an arc welding method is a consumable electrode pulse arc welding method. The laser beam irradiation position is adjusted so as to be in a vicinity of a boundary part between a molten part and a non-molten part before a molten pool. The condensing diameter of a laser beam at an irradiation part is set to be slightly larger than the gap length present in the joint part to be welded, and the energy density of the laser beam irradiation part is set to the value at which galvanized metal of the irradiation part is evaporated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p>
