PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber cable in which connection from a optical fiber ribbon which is contained in the optical fiber cable to single coated optical fiber type optical fiber cables. SOLUTION: In this optical fiber cable 1, a part where adhesion force of the tape resin 12 of the optical fiber ribbon 10 and an outer sheath 3 is large and a part where the force is small are formed alternatively in the longitudinal direction by intermittently forming inclusions 40 in the longitudinal direction of the cable. Moreover, the coated optical fiber ribbon 10 is configured so that four optical fibers 11 are arranged in parallel and the entire length of these optical fibers 11 is covered in one body with tape resin 12 of resin and in the optical fiber ribbon 10, when the maximum value of the thickness of the ribbon 10 and the outer diameter of the optical fiber 11 are denoted respectively as T(μm), d(μm), the inequality of T≤d+40(μm) is satisfied.
