<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the recording operation in the satisfied characteristic even for an optical information recording medium unknown for an optical information recorder by deciding a method to select an appropriate recording method in the combination between the optical information recording medium and the optical information recorder. <P>SOLUTION: The information C and the information D are compared (STEP 1) when the optical information recording medium A having the information C capable of deriving a recording condition is mounted on the optical information recorder B, and when the information C is included by the information D, the recording condition derived from the information D is used (STEP 2-1, 3), and the information C provided in the optical information recording medium A is acquired (STEP 2-2) when it is not included, so that the recording operation to the optical information recording medium A is carried out (STEP 3) by using the recording condition derived from the information C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
