<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize an efficient cooling structure employing a minimum number of fans, in which nuisance sound and dust sucking caused by rotating fans are eliminated , in an image forming device which is divided into top and bottom sections. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device is divided into a bottom side electric device casing 2 and a top side electric device casing 1 and electric device parts which are members to be cooled are mounted in the respective casings. The image forming device is provided with electric cooling fans 5 which are arranged at the connecting portion of the bottom side electric device casing 2 and the top side electric device casing 1 and generate upstream and downstream air flows, a drawing shape (not shown) which draws in the downstream and guides the air flow into the top side electric device casing 1 and a ventilation port (not shown) which connects the drawing shape and the casing external. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
