<p>A device for forming a cavity (10) above an opening (18) in a building ceiling having an insulating layer (14) has at least two mutually rotatably connected strips (2,3) which have a maximum tensioned width which is greater than light cone width of the opening (18), and which are at least partly deformable by hand so that the spacing of their opposite facing ends (2a,2b) is less than the light cone width of the opening (18). Independent claims are included for (a) a method for mounting a light, especially a halogen beam lamp in a receptacle opening and for (b) application of the device.</p> |
