<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem wherein tone jump is caused at a place where isolated image regions are connected, especially in an electrophotographic image recording system that uses two or more kinds of toner with different densities. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic image recorder is provided with a photoconductive photoreceptor drum 11, an electrifier 12 which uniformly electrifies the photoreceptor drum 11, an image exposing device 17 which forms an electrostatic latent image by image exposing the surface of the photoreceptor drum 11 after the drum 11 is electrified, a developing device 19 which is used to stick toner onto the electrostatic latent image to form a toner image and a transfer electrifier 14 which transfers the obtained toner image onto a final supporting member such as ordinary paper or the like. In the electrophotographic image recorder, two or more kinds of toner with different densities are used for developing. In the recorder, dither patterns are constituted so that tone jump is not caused in the density regions having density of 0.3 to 0.5 on each color print. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
