<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a termination component with an optical connector and an outlet for an optical connector which can easily realize miniaturization of the outlet, particularly, reduction of depth of the outlet. <P>SOLUTION: The termination component 20 with an optical connector is composed of an optical connector 21 and a mechanical splice part 23 which is assembled in an extended tip end from the optical connector 21 of a pigtail optical fiber 22 extending from the connector 21. The outlet 10 for an optical connector is structured by incorporating the termination component 20 with an optical connector into an outer case 11. The mechanical splice part 23 is arranged at a position away from the optical connector 21 via the optical fiber 22. Therefore, by the bend of the optical fiber 22 inside the outer case 11, the reduction of dimension of the outlet, particularly the depth, can be easily realized. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
