SURFACE ACOUSTIC WAVE DEVICE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a SAW device which has a large electromechanical coupling coefficient for realizing a wide-band filter and also has small transmission loss. SOLUTION: The surface acoustic wave device is constituted by arranging IDT electrodes on the main surface of rotary Y-cut X-propagation lithium niobate (LiNbO3) in the propagation direction of a Love wave, and the metal material of the IDT electrodes is an alloy which is principally comprised of Ag and contains 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% Pd and 0.1 to 3.0 wt.% Cu.
