PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for evaluating a sanitary ware, in which a sanitary ware for evaluation is used and by which the comparison of functions of the sanitary wares can be easily performed when new functions such as antifouling properties or new color tones are imparted onto the surfaces of the sanitary wares. SOLUTION: The evaluation is carried out by using the sanitary ware for evaluation, which is obtained by dividing a stool bowl surface into two pieces in the vertical direction with respect to a user so that a water reservoir part is divided, and forming a surface having a surface property different from that of one divided surface on the other divided surface.
