<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfy a request of a user who wishes to conduct a performance simultaneously with reproducing of an ordinary external recording medium on which music information, image information and/or other information are recorded. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU (central processing unit) 1 stores external media information recorded in external media such as a CD (compact disk) and a CD-ROM (read only memory) or the like into the header of a music memory 5, reads events which are performance data stored in the music area of the music memory 5, supplies the events to a sound source section 9, synchronizes the waveform data of the music to be generated by the sound source section 9 and the information recorded in the external media based on the external media information stored in the header and conducts synthesis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
