MOBILE STATION AND MAP INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile station with a display function which can extremely easily recognize the correspondence of an azimuth on a map displayed on a display panel and the actual azimuth in the point. SOLUTION: The mobile station which receives the map information transmitted by air from a base station and displays the map based on the map information on its own display panel is characterised by being equipped with an azimuthal angle difference detecting section which detects the azimuthal angle difference between the azimuth relating to the direction of the display panel and a specific azimuth and a map display control means which displays the actual azimuth on the map on the display panel based on the azimuthal angle difference detected by the azimuthal angle difference detecting section in the received map information.
