PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle run support system capable of alerting a driver at locations having steep slope and level difference on a running path. SOLUTION: The vehicle run support system is constituted so that ECU 9 always monitors the slope angle of a road that the vehicle is running calculated by a 3D gyroscope 23. When the calculated slope angle becomes larger than a specified angle in this system, the ECU 9 counts the duration time. If the count reaches a preset value, the location is registered as an alert point of an upslope or a downslope. When the calculated slope angle is larger than a threshold angle, the location is immediately registered as an alert point of level difference. If a vehicle comes close to the registered alert point, an alert mark corresponding to the road situation of the alert point is indicated on a display 7, to call the attention of the driver.
