PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a push button which can be operated smoothly without being caught when operated. SOLUTION: This is the push button having the button main body 1 and the panel main body 2, and has a rib 25 which protrudes in counter face part direction of the other side on at least one side of a pair of counter face part composed of a part of the inner peripheral face of cylindrical retaining part 22 and the outer peripheral face of a cylindrical part 10, and has a guide groove 11 into which the rib 25 is inserted at the counter face part of the other side. Because movement of the button main body is regulated by the rib and the guide groove, interference of the button main body and the panel main body does not occur, and smooth operation becomes possible.
