PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printer which stabilizes a print medium and conveys the same when performing monocolor printing. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic printer has: a transfer belt which is driven by a drive means and conveys the print medium; a plurality of image carriers located along the transfer belt; a transfer means which is arranged oppositely to the respective image carriers across the transfer belt; and an image carrier driving means which brings one or two of the image carriers of corresponding colors and other colors into contact with the transfer belt, when performing the monocolor printing. In such a case, because one or two of the image carriers of corresponding colors and other colors are brought into contact with the transfer belt when performing the monocolor printing, the print medium is stably conveyed to the transfer part of the corresponding color.
