PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lid structure for a cosmetic container which makes a sheet like product visible not only from the surface side of the lid body but also from the rear side thereof when the lid body is opened and enables the checking of the color tone or the like of the cosmetic products as the contents without opening the lid body when no sheet like product is housed. SOLUTION: The container is provided with a through window 4 which is formed toward the rear 3b from the surface 3a thereof in a lid body 3 for opening or closing the body 2 thereof for housing the cosmetic products, a transparent or semi-transparent cover plate 5 mounted on the through window 4 and a transparent or semi-transparent closure plate 6 detachably mounted on the through window 4 forming a clearance S for housing the sheet like product P between it and the cover plate 5.
