PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal with a camera whose operation for taking a photograph is facilitated by simplifying labor to perform a series of operation individually in taking a photograph with a camera. SOLUTION: The portable terminal with the camera is equipped with: an imaging part provided in a portable terminal; a lens cover with which the lens of the imaging part is covered; an opening/closing operation means 26 exposing the lens by moving the lens cover: and a shutter switch 23 for taking the photograph with the camera. The operation means 26 is arranged so that it slides to open/close the lens cover, and constituted so that it operates the switch 23 when the lens cover is opened. Thus, the lens cover and the switch 23 are continuously operated, then, the labor to perform the operation individually is simplified to easily perform the operation for taking a photograph with the camera.
