PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the inflow of soil and sand from the opened end of a front-end opened steel pipe pile in the case of the burying of the steel pipe pile while reducing a bending stress working to a pile peripheral wall. SOLUTION: Two split wings 2a and 2b integrally formed extensively over an inner wing section projected to the inside of a steel-pipe pile body from an outer wing section projected to the outside of the steel-pipe pile body are opposed mutually in the opposite direction and installed obliquely at the lower end section of the steel-pipe pile body 1, and the stress working to the pile peripheral wall in the case of the burying is reduced by partially offsetting the stress inside and outside the pile. The inflow of soil and sand from the opened lower end of the pile is inhibited by the rotation of the wings by connecting the front-end opened extending pipe 3 having the same diameter as the steel-pipe pile body and a length at one or one and a half times as the outside diameter of the pile body to the undersides of the split wings 2a and 2b concentrically to the pile 1 body.
