PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a clip for temporary fastening of window glass capable of surely temporarily fastening the window glass without generating a positional deviation at a window opening part provided on a body panel of an automobile. SOLUTION: In this clip, a substantially reverse U-shaped slit 3 is provided in a leg part 2 suspended on a lower surface of a head part 1, a part of a peripheral wall surrounded by the slit 3 is made as an elastic piece 4, the head part 6 is fixed to the window glass, and the window glass is temporarily fastened to the window opening part on the body panel by inserting the leg part 2 into an oblong hole of the body panel and engaging the leg part 2 to the elastic piece 4. One side of a part for forming a distal end part of the elastic piece 4 of the slit 3 is bent into a substantial crank-shape.
