[Also in Division A4] A storage system in which e.g. pallets are advanced individually through a series of storage positions when a pallet is removed from the discharge end of a storage track comprises two pallet supporting parallel roller tracks 2 between which a bar 4, carrying pallet moving members 5-5c pivoted thereon, is continuously reciprocated. Staggered on both sides of the bar are rockers 13 pivoted at 14 on side supports and counter-balanced at 26 to an upper position whereby a link 15 pivoted at 27 thereon lifts a lever 30 via a cross-pin, turns a rod 16 and lifts a lever 17 actuating a member 5-5c. When a forward pallet is removed, the rocker rises and lifts the actuating lever 17. As the bar 4 moves leftwards, a member 5 is moved under the next rearward pallet until a depending arm 18 abuts lever 17 so as to turn member 5 against catch 23 and present its pushing end 19 behind the rearward pallet which, as the bar 4 moves to the right, is moved into the forward empty position to depress rocker and allow another pallet to snap the member 5 downwards for reciprocation under the pallet. Another rocker rises in the vacant rearward position and another moving member 5 moves the next pallet forward on the next rightward movement of bar 4. |
