A vehicle lamp (10, figure 1) comprises a semiconductor light source module 100 for generating light, an optical member 256 operable to emit the light produced by the light source module 100, and a light source fixing member 202 for fixing the light source module 100 to a reference position a relative position of which with respect to the optical member 256 is predetermined. The vehicle lamp (10, figure 1) is also provided with reference members 452a, 452b which are fixed to the reference position for mounting the light source 100 to the reference position, and a holder member (708, figure 18) for fitting a centre of the light region to a position a relative position of which with respect to the reference members 452a, 452b is predetermined, so as to hold a semiconductor light emitting element 102. |
