The terminal further comprises a hybrid card reader (6) and a pin pad (7). Said processor unit (1) is further connected with a telephone unit (15), a scanner (16) and a printer (17). The invention is characterized in that said processor unit (1) is connected to interact with a peripheral device processor unit (10) being connected to interact with a coin feeder (11), a bar code reader (12), a multimedial unit (13) and an auxiliary peripheral device (14). The invented self-service payment and information terminal is intended for use in the field of providing free or paid information, communication and payment services for both institutions and public.
