DRIVING METHOD AND CONTROL DEVICE FOR STEPPING MOTOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method and a control device for a stepping motor, capable of realizing high efficiency and little noise by minimizing driving current.

SOLUTION: This drive for the stepping motor comprises a constant-current control part 10 for generating a constant-current control voltage command; a vector control part 11 for generating a vector control voltage command; a speed discrimination part 8 for discriminating a driving speed; and a driving switching part 9. The driving switching part 9 performs switching between the constant-current control part 10 and the vector control part 11 based on the discriminated result of the speed discrimination part 8.
