PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a transfer rate in an area where a file arrangement on a recording medium is continuous. SOLUTION: A file designation part 210 designates a file to be accessed. A continuity decision part 230 decides whether the file to be accessed is arranged in a data area 390 continuously. A head address acquisition part 220 acquires a head cluster of the file to be accessed. An in-file address designation section 240 designates the in-file address of the file to be accessed. An address calculating part 250 calculating the address of the file data from the head cluster and the in-file address of the file to be accessed.
