摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outside world identifying apparatus for vehicle capable of performing position detection and tracking simultaneously. SOLUTION: The outside world identifying apparatus for vehicle comprises an image fetching means 101 for fetching a situation of a forward to its own vehicle as an image, a noticeable object output means 102 for outputting a positional information of an object to be noticeable for the vehicle, and an image processing means 103 for performing image processing with a region based on an output of the noticeable object output means 102 in the image fetching means 101 to detect the object. The image processing means 103 includes a first technique mainly to detect the position of the object and a second technique mainly to track the object.
