A method of knitting clothes with line difference, wherein both sleeves and body of a sweater are connected to each other at fourchettes by increasing the fourchette between a front body and both front sleeves more than that between a rear body and both rear sleeves. A knitting fabric is rotated and, for example, the boundary of the left side sleeve between the front and rear sides thereof is positioned between front and rear needle beds. In this state, the left side sleeve is joined to the front body, the knitting fabric is rotated again, the boundary of the right side sleeve between the right and left sides thereof is positioned between the front and rear needle beds, and the right side sleeve is joined to the front body.
