<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide Amazake (Japanese sweet liquor made from fermented rice) obtained by using a raw material comprising rice-related one while breaking stereotypical views on its color and/or taste. <P>SOLUTION: The Amazake is produced by adding liquid obtained by extracting pigments of ancient rice bran comprising brown rice and purple rice when mixing cooked polished rice with malted rice; and glycosylating the mixture.
