<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which replacement of a photoreceptor unit and replacement of an intermediate transfer unit are facilitated. <P>SOLUTION: When a processing cartridge 101 is drawn to a predetermined drawn position, a stopper member 101-11 engages with the first projecting part 102-11 of a body part housing 102, which is further back in the direction where the cartridge 101 is drawn, and becomes locked, thereby the processing cartridge 101 is prevented from being further drawn from the drawn position. By operating an operation member 103-13 to unlock the stopper member, the processing cartridge 101 is further drawn. When the processing cartridge 101 further drawn and is slid and housed in the body part housing 102, the contact parts 103-13a of the operation member 101-13 come into contact with a second projecting part 102-12. Consequently, the stopper becomes locked from the unlocked state and the processing cartridge returns further back than the first projection 102-12 in the direction where the cartridge is slid and housed. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
