PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a deflection yoke of vertical toroidal winding coil type which can make correction of color shift easily due to Yv misconvergence (R-B horizontal line break at the end in vertical direction of the viewing region) and in which cost increase due to increase of number of wiring and number of terminals can be suppressed, a cathode-ray tube, and a display device. SOLUTION: The deflection yoke having at least a vertical deflection coil of toroidal shape and a cylindrical core wound with vertical deflection coil is used. The core is formed by jointing a first core member 3a and a second core member 3b. The first core member 3a and the second core member 3b are jointed through a joining face 4 with X axis as normal. The vertical deflection coil is formed by a first vertical deflection coil 1 wound on the first core member 3a and a second vertical deflection coil 2 wound on the second core member 3b. The first vertical deflection coil 1 is formed of winding fluxes 1a and 1b having different winding direction, and the second vertical deflection coil 2 is formed of winding fluxes 2a and 2b having different winding directions.
