PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent contamination with substances which are scattered and then floated in case of prescriptively treating a specimen received in a culture vessel into other culture vessels. SOLUTION: The subject culture treatment apparatus has a treatment chamber for receiving a treatment unit 19 which prescriptively treats the specimen received in the culture vessel 3 by opening a cover 3b of the culture vessel 3 for receiving the specimen, and further has a sheet member 45 for covering an upper surface of the treatment unit 19 which is positioned below the culture vessel 3.
