<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the stability of optical waveguide performance for a long period of time by improving the mechanical strength of an optoelectric composite wiring board and suppressing an increase in optical waveguide loss due to the deformation of an optical wiring layer which is caused by the defective adhesion of the optical wiring layer to the base board. <P>SOLUTION: An intermediate layer 11 for improving adhesiveness of the base board 2 to the optical wiring layer 4 is provided between the optical wiring layer 4 which is installed in the base board 2 having electric wiring for transmitting electric signals and has optical wiring for transmitting optical signals and a photoelectric converting element which is electrically connected to the electric wiring and photoelectrically converts the optical signals transmitted by the optical wiring. Then, the optical wiring layer 4 is surely fixed to the base board 2, and also a part where the optical wiring layer 4 is provided is made thicker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
