摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shading correcting device for reducing the circuit scale, and for improving the arithmetic speed, its shading correcting method, its shading correcting program, and an application device using it. SOLUTION: In this shading correcting device having a coefficient arithmetic unit 105 for acquiring shading correction coefficients by first and second arithmetic units for performing the arithmetic operation of the correction coefficient components in the first and second crossing directions of a pixel under consideration, each arithmetic unit is configured of a lookup table 103 in which the coefficient components of a plurality of reference points whose intervals are different are stored so as to be associated with the addresses according to the size of the change rate of the correction coefficient components to the change of a distance, a pixel distance generator 101 for outputting a virtual pixel position by converting the pixel under consideration so that the reference point intervals can be turned into equal intervals, a generator 102 for outputting the reference point addresses and distances between the adjacent reference points and the pixel under consideration based on the virtual pixel position and the reference point intervals and a compensation arithmetic unit 104 for acquiring the coefficient components by interpolation based on the coefficient components corresponding to the two reference point addresses and the distances between the adjacent reference points and the pixel under consideration and the reference point intervals.
