PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a communication terminal equipment at a reception side to execute proper processing even when the reception side receives retransmitted electronic mail. SOLUTION: A main control section 1 of a transmitter side facsimile machine 20 transmits first electronic mail including image data and a message ID being information related to first electronic mail to a destination facsimile machine 20 via the Internet 40 and thereafter stores the first electronic mail to an image data memory area 8a in a compact flash (R) 8 for retransmission, and stores the message ID corresponding to the image data to a communication management table area 8b in the compact flash (R) 8. The transmission side facsimile machine transmits second electronic mail including the message ID being information with respect to the first electronic mail transmitted before and the image data transmitted before, and also including a message ID of new electronic mail transmission in order to retransmit the first electronic mail after a lapse of e.g., 24 hours after the transmission of the first electronic mail.
