<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulverized coal combustor capable of remarkably reducing the discharge of nitrogen oxide (NOx) while stably keeping the ignition/combustion performance of pulverized coal, in a combustor for burning the pulverized coal. <P>SOLUTION: This pulverized coal combustor comprises a pulverized coal supply means for preparing the pulverized coal by pulverizing the coal, and sending the pulverized coal while using a part of a combustion exhaust gas as a carrier gas, a nozzle means for injecting and supplying the pulverized coal to a combustion furnace, and a combustion air supplying means for supplying the combustion air heated at a high temperature to burn the pulverized coal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
