PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly connect images projected by projectors not to make breaks conspicuous in a multi-projection video display device which uses a plurality of video projectors to constitute one picture on a screen. SOLUTION: Projectors 0121, 0122, 0123, 0124 and a screen 0140 are disposed so that maximum image projection ranges 0151, 0152, 0153, 0154 are overlapped in neighboring ranges. A video signal controller 0110 for processing a video signal supplied from an external video input 0180 incorporates a means for segmenting a partial image region charged by each projector, an image conversion means for performing geometrical deformation and local color correction on the partial image, and an arithmetic control means for controlling the image conversion means on the basis of image information inputted from a screen state monitoring camera 0130. The above constitution smoothens the breaks of images only by image signal processing, thereby producing the effect that precise adjustment for optical systems of the projectors is unnecessary.
