PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the network traffic of a device management system which manages an I/O device. SOLUTION: When an integrated device information management system 10 requests a local device information management system 20 or the like having the role of managing an I/O device 52 from which to request information to present information about the I/O device 52, the local device information management system 20 or the like which received the request sends information about the I/O device 52 requested and registers this information so that the system can manage the information by itself.
