PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a warp sheet from being loosened, and an excess tension state of the warp sheet from being caused at power failure. SOLUTION: The method for stopping a warp-sizing machine involves each independently setting thrust for the time of normal operation and thrust for the time of the power failure, given by a following roller to a driven roller through the warp sheet, and, at the power failure, giving the thrust for the time of the power failure to the driven roller and operating a stopping device for at least stopping a winder for winding the warp sheet.
