PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for visually recognizing information acquired by a cellular phone by providing a display part outside the cellular phone besides a cellular phone body for reporting the information acquired by the cellular phone over a wide range. SOLUTION: The cellular phone display adapter which is an apparatus for displaying the information acquired by a portable telephone set on an external display, includes an information acquisition means for extracting information from the portable telephone set, a storage means for storing the extracted information, a conversion means for converting the information into a display format, and a transmission means for transmitting data to a display part. Various kinds of information can be extracted from the portable telephone set, displayed on the external display, display device, an advertising indication lamp, a neon sign and the like and displayed over the wide range.
