PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal injection method and a liquid crystal injection apparatus which realize the reduction of an amount of use of a liquid crystal, low cost, high reliability and enhancement of productivity. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal injection method for injecting the liquid crystal between a pair of liquid crystal substrates disposed opposite to each other via a prescribed gap in a vacuum chamber, liquid crystal cells 1 are arranged in the vacuum chamber so that liquid crystal injection ports are turned upward, pressure inside the vacuum chamber is reduced, fine rods 4 are immersed in a container 3 filled with the liquid crystal in the vacuum chamber the inside of which is pressure-reduced, the liquid crystal adhering to distal end parts of the fine rods is brought into contact with the liquid crystal cells and then the inside of the vacuum chamber is returned into normal pressure.
