PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a decorative material having higher flame retardancy while suppressing the compounding amount of a flame retardant therein, in view of the problems involved in the conventional technology that conventional decorative materials each with a thermoplastic resin compounded with a flame retardant have been limited in the compounding amounts of such flame retardants due to decline in thermal stability such as scorching in molding operation and rise in MFR(melt flow rate) and increase in production cost, etc. SOLUTION: The decorative material as a molded form containing a thermoplastic resin and a flame retardant is characterized by also containing a woody filler, wherein the woody filler is compounded at≥20 pts. wt. based on 100 pts. wt. of the thermoplastic resin.
