PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a non-silicone-based mold release agent that contains no silicone, exhibits excellent mold release characteristics to various tacky agents, does not transfer to an adhesive face, has excellent heat resistance, solvent resistance, rubbing-off performance (scratch resistance) and exhibits high-speed crosslinking property and a mold releasing film. SOLUTION: The mold release agent is obtained by combining a (meth)acrylic copolymer comprising a five-membered ring dithiocarbonate group-containing (meth)acrylate unit and a higher alkyl (meth)acrylate unit with a crosslinking agent or a curing catalyst.
