PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a tin-doped indium oxide particulate having high crystallinity and a small particle diameter. SOLUTION: The tin-doped indium oxide particulate is produced in the order by a step to obtain a fused material containing, by mol% based on each oxide, 10-50% In<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, 0.5-10% SnO<SB>2</SB>, 25-55% B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and 15-50% one or more kinds among R<SB>2</SB>O (wherein, R is Li, Na or K) and R'O (wherein, R' is Mg, Ca, Ba or Sr), a step to make the fused material amorphous by rapid cooling, a step to deposit a tin-doped indium oxide crystal from an amorphous material and a step to separate the tin-doped indium oxide crystal from the obtained crystallized material.
