PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermosetting composition having good storage stability and giving cured products excellent in chemical and physical performances, weathering resistance and contamination resistance, to provide a method of coating finish and coated products, and to provide a method for molding and molded products. SOLUTION: The thermosetting composition comprises (A) a compound having 2-50 carboxys blocked by a vinyl (thio)ether group or heterocyclic group having vinyl double bond and containing O or S as the heteroatom in a molecule, (B) a compound having 2-50 reactive functional groups forming chemical bonds with the blocked carboxys by heating, and (C) a thermosetting composition containing (i) a compound containing epoxy group, (ii) a sulfur-containing specific compound and (iii) a thermopotential acid catalyst containing a specific Lewis acid or (D) a thermosetting composition comprising at least one blocked carboxy, a self crosslinkable compound having 1-50 reactive functional groups forming a chemical bond with the blocked carboxy by heating and the thermopotential acid catalyst of the (C) component.
