PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a silent curtain rail for a curtain runner to run silently. SOLUTION: The whole inner surface of the curtain rail 10 for the curtain runner 20 to run in contact is a bristle-planted face, so that the running face of the curtain rail 10 with which the curtain runner 20 is brought into contact at the time of running is covered with the bristle-planted face. Accordingly, vibration and noise generated when the curtain runner 20 is rolling or sliding are absorbed in the bristle-planted face. Furthermore, as the whole inner surface of the curtain rail 10 is covered with the bristle-planted face, the noise generated inside the curtain rail is absorbed in the bristles on the inner surface so that the extremely silent curtain rail can be provided.
