<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which can enhance a visual effect while reducing a labor and cost required for the generation of image information. <P>SOLUTION: The information for displaying the existing images and the information for displaying the symbol images having the symbols varying in a variation pattern associated with the variation in the existing images are stored in a memory circuit 32 of a display controller 30. A display control circuit 31 reads the information on the existing images and the symbol images out of a memory circuit 32 based on the command signal outputted from the main control circuit 11.
