PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a non-aqueous-based lithium power storage element which contains all a high energy density, a large output and high reliability. SOLUTION: The nonaqueous lithium power storage element comprises a positive electrode having a positive electrode active material layer and a positive electrode collector, a negative electrode having a negative electrode active material layer and a negative electrode collector, a separator interposed between the positive electrode and the negative electrode, a nonaqueous electrolyte, and a packing body. The positive electrode active material layer contains activated carbon, and the negative electrode active material layer contains lithium ion occluding carbon material. The separator has a film thickness of 15μm to 50μm and has a liquid resistance of 2.5Ωcm<SP>2</SP>or below. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
