PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of preventing the blockage of suction ports by articles by raising a supporting part from an upper face of a duct and loading shelf members on the supporting part to separate the articles loaded on the shelf members and the suction ports with a specific clearance, whereby the sufficient air suction into a cooling compartment through the suction ports can be secured, the cold air can be sufficiently circulated in a storage compartment, and the storage compartment can be efficiently and uniformly cooled as a whole. SOLUTION: The duct 50 is provided with a pair of supporting parts 54, 54 stood from an upper plate 50a faced to the storage compartment. The upper plate 50a held between the pair of supporting parts 54, 54 is provided with a longitudinal slit, and the plurality of suction ports 52 are formed in a state of being vertically communicated with each other. By placing the shelf members 44 on loading faces 54a formed on tips of the supporting parts 54, a spatial part 58 is formed between the upper plate 50a of the duct 50 and the shelf members 44 with the specific clearance, and the articles and the suction ports 52 are separated from each other by loading the articles on the shelf members 44.
